The sacramental preparation process

St Bernadette’s has renewed its sacramental preparation process for families wishing to prepare their children for the sacraments of first Reconciliation, Confirmation, and first Eucharist. The new integrated, family-focussed, year-long process includes changes to the usual ages at which families undertake preparation for their children to receive the sacraments.

We encourage parents to carefully consider the needs of their children when considering when to begin undertaking preparation for the sacraments.

Information regarding enrolment in the new programs will be advertised in the weekly parish bulletin, the Massabielle. Please contact the Parish Office with any other queries.

Adult sacramental programs

Adults usually do their discernment and preparation through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. Please contact the Parish Office. The staff will be more than willing to provide you with more information.
